Alexandra Nader

Alexandra Nader is a dynamic educator, writer, and performer whose work spans multiple platforms. She has been a company member of The Story Pirates since 2017, where she teaches creative writing to public school students in New York City and Los Angeles. Alexandra also plays a key role in business development at The Story Pirates, collaborating with name-brand companies in the children's media space. She has performed at venues across the nation and collaborated with Popsicle and Random House Children’s Books to host Story Pirates programming. Alexandra’s educational contributions have been honored by the International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences with an Anthem Award for Outstanding Work in Education, Art, and Culture. In addition to her work in the classroom, she serves as the Lead Teaching Artist for the Chautauqua Institution Young Playwrights Project.
As a performer, Alexandra has appeared as a host on SPTV (PBS) and a performer on America’s Got Talent (NBC). Her stage credits include Kafkaesque! (Off-Broadway at Theater 154) and the Just For Laughs Festival in Toronto. Alexandra is a semi-finalist for Forbes 30 Under 30, and her digital work has been showcased by prominent outlets such as Mas Méjor, Funny or Die, The Huffington Post, and Occupy Democrats. She is currently a sketch house team performer at The Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in New York City.
